  5. This file contains important information about the IBM CICS Client for
  6. OS/2 that may not be available in the printed documentation.

  12. Installation
  13. ------------
  14. This fix pack of the CICS Client can be obtained either by applying the
  15. the relevant Fix Pack Diskette to a previously installed product or by
  16. installing the updated product from a hard drive.  To produce an updated
  17. product copy all files from the base product diskettes to a directory
  18. on a hard drive, then copy all the files from this fix pack to the same
  19. directory. To install the updated product type D:\DIR\INSTALL at an OS/2
  20. command prompt, where D:\DIR is the hard drive and directory containing
  21. the updated product.

  24. Help Information for Client Messages
  25. ------------------------------------
  26. In addition to the softcopy "Messages" book installed in the CICS Client
  27. folder, the help text for all the CCL messages is provided in two ASCII
  28. text files found in the \CICSCLI\BIN subdirectory.  These may be viewed
  29. using any standard text editor.

  31. CCLMSG.HLP contains the help for the end user messages and is provided
  32.            translated into your chosen language.
  33.  
  34. CCLLOG.HLP contains the help for the trace and log messages and is
  35.            provided in English only.

  37. Problem Fixes - Fix Pack 01
  38. ---------------------------
  39. The following version 1.0 client APARs are fixed in this fix pack :
  40.  
  41. PN82207  Outline boxes are corrupt if they
  42.          change on the second byte of a DBCS
  43.          character.
  44. PN83150  ECI_CLIENTSTATE_UP is returned to an
  45.          ECI STATUS when the client is shutting
  46.          down.
  47. PN83318  A trap occurs in a CICS for OS/2 server
  48.          when a client sends corrupted data.
  49. PN83553  CCL2008 Internal state error, CCL3227
  50.          Conversation is not in send state.
  51.          CCL2012 Unable to find session entry.
  52. PN84606  The userid and password associated with
  53.          CICSCLI /C are ignored by the client.
  54. PN87486  Any HTML tags (anything starting with a
  55.          < ) entered into HTML input data fields
  56.          are incorrectly displayed with the CICS
  57.          Internet Gateway.
