This file contains important information about the IBM CICS Client for
OS/2 that may not be available in the printed documentation.

Installation
------------
This fix pack of the CICS Client can be obtained either by applying the
the relevant Fix Pack Diskette to a previously installed product or by
installing the updated product from a hard drive.  To produce an updated
product copy all files from the base product diskettes to a directory
on a hard drive, then copy all the files from this fix pack to the same
directory. To install the updated product type D:\DIR\INSTALL at an OS/2
command prompt, where D:\DIR is the hard drive and directory containing
the updated product.


Help Information for Client Messages
------------------------------------
In addition to the softcopy "Messages" book installed in the CICS Client
folder, the help text for all the CCL messages is provided in two ASCII
text files found in the \CICSCLI\BIN subdirectory.  These may be viewed
using any standard text editor.

CCLMSG.HLP contains the help for the end user messages and is provided
           translated into your chosen language.

CCLLOG.HLP contains the help for the trace and log messages and is
           provided in English only.

Problem Fixes - Fix Pack 01
---------------------------
The following version 1.0 client APARs are fixed in this fix pack :

PN82207  Outline boxes are corrupt if they
         change on the second byte of a DBCS
         character.
PN83150  ECI_CLIENTSTATE_UP is returned to an
         ECI STATUS when the client is shutting
         down.
PN83318  A trap occurs in a CICS for OS/2 server
         when a client sends corrupted data.
PN83553  CCL2008 Internal state error, CCL3227
         Conversation is not in send state.
         CCL2012 Unable to find session entry.
PN84606  The userid and password associated with
         CICSCLI /C are ignored by the client.
PN87486  Any HTML tags (anything starting with a
         < ) entered into HTML input data fields
         are incorrectly displayed with the CICS
         Internet Gateway.
