  19. Subject: WinFax PRO 3.0 Maintenance Release: April 21, 1993

  21. This document describes the WinFax PRO 3.0 maintenance release dated 
  22. April 21, 1993. It also explains how to obtain this release in a patch 
  23. file from the Delrina Bulletin Board Service (BBS) or CompuServe.
  24.  
  25. To determine the release date of your WinFax software, pull down the 
  26. Help menu in WinFax and select About.
  27.  
  28. The April 21, 1993 release updates your WinFax PRO 3.0 version to 
  29. provide:
  30.  
  31. - improved fax transmission for Class 1 fax/modems
  32. - upgraded memory management for viewing, printing and recognizing faxes
  33. - new Delrina Windows communications driver (WFXCOMM.DRV) for 14,400 bps 
  34.   fax/modems using a 16550 UART chip
  35. - correct handling of names and numbers on cover pages during a group send
  36. - enhanced recognition of international characters for OCR
  37. - improved manual receive features and page counting for CAS fax/modems
  38. - increased security for credit card faxing (card number no longer appears
  39.   in the header and cover page when using the @X variable).
