There can be more than one FIXLIST.* file. Select Scope to see a list of scopes
for FIXLIST.*.
The scope defines how information should be propagated. To select the scope,
select the arrow to the right of the Scope entry field. A list appears. When
you select a scope from the list, it appears in the entry field. The following
are the possible values. Note that this list shows a hierarchy from the largest
(region) to the smallest subset (server).
GLOBAL Contains information about all the fixes to be applied to all the
users in the NetDoor environment.
COMPLEX Contains information about all the fixes to be applied to the
users in a collection of sites or buildings forming a single
entity within the region.
REGION Contains information about all the fixes to be applied to the
users in a Region or Division.
SITE Contains information about all the fixes to be applied to the
users in the specific local site or building served.

users in the specific couplet containing the server.
DOMAIN Contains information about all the fixes to be applied to the
users in the specific domain containing the server.
SERVER Contains information about all the fixes to be applied to the
users in the specific NetDoor server.
To view the FIXLIST.* files already defined in the selected scope, click on the
Find button.
Specify to which kind of users the fixes will be applied:
o Select OS/2 to make them available to OS/2 users.
o Select Windows to make them available to Windows users.
Depending on which image you choose, the FIXLIST.xxx file, where xxx is the

o In the TCP/IP environment this is the host name.
In the Image group box specify where the NetDoor image resides. This
information is meaningful only for NetDoor image servers. In particular:
o In the NetBIOS environment, the NETBIOS alias field indicates the name of the
LAN Server alias where the NetDoor image resides.

that is, a set of two (or possibly more) domains with identical user sets. Each
member of a couplet is called a twin.
NetDoor uses couplets to provide for continuous access to the environment, even
if one domain controller is unavailable.
In the NetBIOS environment, the two domains must have the same set of users,
defined with the same user ID, password, and accounts.
In the TCP/IP environment, each server that provides the data server resource
must have the same exports file.
The twins of the domain are listed in the Twins list box.
