  22. CLIPART has CONTINUED its expansion (Chris will just NOT slow down... :),       
  23. and the following info concerns its update in this release:

  48.   The template.pmd and quickref.pmd files have been updated - template          
  49. now has several sample labels for diskettes and such, courtesy of Bill          
  50. Trautman.

  56.  -STARTUP logo, created a cute logo screen.  Novice startup now                 
  57.     goes straight from this Welcome dialog to viewing the main                  
  58.     app window.  Expert mode (-e option) gets the full-function                 
  59.     initial dialog which has new layout AND the logo...                         
  60.     SET THE STARTUP MODE USING Personalize (can override using                  
  61.     command-line switches -e and -m for Expert and Minimized).

  63.  -64 COLOR PALETTE!                                                             
  64.                                                                                 
  65.    - Palette IS saved with PMD file, one palette per file                       
  66.      (can't have a different palette for each page).                            
  67.    - Double-click on a color to select it...                                    
  68.    - Default palette available and will be "attached" by default to             
  69.      read-in pmd files that do not have a palette.                              
  70.    - Palette entry on File menu for changing/restoring

  72.  -BLOCK TEXT!

  74.    - MLE entry of text with soft- and hard-breaks.  Clipboard                   
  75.      cut/copy/paste for text I/O (in addition to typing...)                     
  76.    - WYSIWYG text reflow within margins for margin, text or attrib

  78.    - Indent/outdent, linespace, paragraphspace settings                         
  79.    - 4 levels of bullets and formatting control (indents, shifts,...)

  83.    - Default schemes and saveable Custom scheme for block formatting            
  84.    - Graphical (poly marker) or CHAR bullets and *NUMBERING* (outlines)!!

  86.  -Internal cleanup, going back and starting to tighten up all the               
  87.     knobs and get as much performance out as I can.                             
  88.     File load speed is 30%-50% FASTER!!!                                        
  89.                                                                                 
  90.  -XREF ENHANCEMENTS: now allows switching to the source page by                 
  91.     double-clicking on the xref (for editing or use in buttons                  
  92.     in interactive presentations for page changes.  Also eliminated             
  93.     recursion concerns allowing arbitrary source and target pages.              
  94.     Enables same-page xrefs.  XREFS are now HYPERLINKS.                         
  95.                                                                                 
  96.  -HYPERLINK JUMPS created.  If you create an object that contains an            
  97.     XREF, double-clicking on that object will cause you to jump to              
  98.     the xref's source page (first xref if there are more than one...).          
  99.     Added a PushBtn clipart object to SHAPES as a starter for this, and         
  100.     an example HYPRLINK.PMD to NEWSAMPS showing how it works.                   
  101.                                                                                 
  102.  -MONOCHROME printing.  Switch in Print Options - causes all non-               
  103.     background colors to be drawn in BLACK on a clear background.               
  104.                                                                                 
  105.  -THUMBNAIL layout control - can now specify directly the layout                
  106.     array from 2x2 to 5x5 (independent of the number of pages being             
  107.     printed).                                                                   
  108.                                                                                 
  109.  -TEXT VARIABLES - added %f and %F for brief and full FILENAME!!!               
  110.                                                                                 
  111.  -CLIPBOARD ops moved from dialogs to submenus.  Accelerators take              
  112.     the default action: for Copy it puts ALL formats up on the clip-            
  113.     board, for Paste it pulls down the first one found in the order             
  114.     of PMD, text strings, and bitmap.                                           
  115.                                                                                 
  116.  -Spooling to a SINGLE print job.  You'll only get one job showing              
  117.     up in your printer's queue, and only one separator page.  You               
  118.     should also be able to print to a file and get all the pages                
  119.     bundled into one PostScript file (going through Print, not via              
  120.     Export yet...).  Had to back this off for Thumbnail, you get                
  121.     one job per Thumbnail page...                                               
  122.                                                                                 
  123.  -CONFIG file change through Personalize takes effect immediately -             
  124.     lets you re-synch with an existing profile easily.                          
  125.                                                                                 
  126.  -Mark, Unmark, +/- buttons redone

  128.  -View submenu rearranged as per several requests.  "Another page" at top
