effect.
Note: The working directories for the Dialog, Icon, and Font Editors are
set to the root directory of the drive where OS/2 2.1 is installed.
See the section "Restrictions and Limitations on using Toolkit on CD-ROM"
under "Additional Toolkit Information" for additional information when
using the Toolkit from CD-ROM.

Creating installation diskettes
===============================
If you have the CD-ROM version of C Set ++ , you can create diskettes
from the CD-ROM for backup purposes, or to allow you to install
on a workstation without a CD-ROM drive.
Refer to \IMAGES\READ.ME for more information and instructions.
Publications in the CD-ROM
==========================
Using online references and tutorials from CD-ROM
-------------------------------------------------
If you decide to use the online references and tutorials from the CD-ROM
rather than installing on your hard disk, you can do so.
Refer to \INF\READ.ME for more information and instructions.
Printing publications on a PostScript printer
---------------------------------------------
There are softcopy publications in PostScript format that can be printed
using a PostScript printer.
Refer to \PS\READ.ME for more information and instructions.
Reading publications in BookManager Read format
-----------------------------------------------
Publications in BookManager Read format (.BOO) are located in the
\BOOKS directory of this CD-ROM. The BookManager bookshelf for the
C Set ++ library is located in the \SHELVES directory.

Additional Toolkit information
==============================
Debug versions of the OS/2 kernel, Presentation Manager and symbol files
------------------------------------------------------------------------
The subdirectory \OS2TK21\DEBUG contains debug files for the
following versions of OS/2:
o OS/2 Version 2.0
o OS/2 Version 2.00.1 Preload
o OS/2 Version 2.00.1 Preload Backup
o OS/2 Version 2.0 with ServicePak XR06055
o OS/2 Version 2.1
The installation program on this CD-ROM will select the appropriate debug
version to install.
Additional information on installing and using the Debug Kernel
---------------------------------------------------------------
For additional information on installing debug files, see the Debug
Installation document (DBUGINST.DOC) on this CD-ROM in \OS2TK21\DEBUG
directory. For detailed information and commands, refer to the online
Debug Kernel Reference in the Toolkit Information folder.
The PM Debugger that comes with the C/C++ Tools will debug most
applications. Debug Kernel is more useful if you are developing
system applications such as device drivers.
Restrictions and Limitations on using Toolkit on CD-ROM
-------------------------------------------------------
Running Sample Programs:
Some of the functions in the REXX Utility Functions Sample create
temporary files on the drive on which the OS/2 Toolkit is installed.
Therefore, if you are running the Toolkit from the CD-ROM, executing
these functions in the REXX Utility Function Sample will generate
errors because this is a read-only device.
