DEBIT CARD FEES
Transaction fees are a common trait to both credit cards and
debit cards. Because, with a debit card you are accessing
your money, the bank cannot charge you their beloved
interest fee. They can, however, charge you for the
privilege of accessing your money at an automatic teller
machine. This transaction fee is usually a flat ■per
transaction■ fee. But, when you purchase merchandise or
services, they charge the merchant a percentage of the sale,
which is generally about two to five percent.
