  2. CHART MENU HELP
  3. --------------------------------------------------------------------
  4.  
  5. The Chart Menu on the Worksheet is used to specify the different
  6. Chart types, or to Remove a Chart.
  7.  
  8. When a Chart is drawn in the Chart Drawing Window, four other
  9. Menus are available:
  10.  
  11. *  Chart Control - for specifying titles, printing Charts, and
  12.    outputting in IFF format.
  13.  
  14. *  Chart Type - for changing the Chart type drawn in the Chart
  15.    Drawing Window.
  16.  
  17. *  Options - for specifing the options available for each
  18.    Chart Type.
  19.  
  20. *  Colors - for changing the color of the Chart background,
  21.    titles, text, and lines.
  22.  
  23. CHART CONTROL MENU ITEMS

  26. Specify

  29. Displays the Chart Specifications Requester window for keying in
  30. Chart titles, selection of Rows and Columns for Labels and Legends,
  31. adjusting scaling, and changing Row and Column orientation.

  34. Undo Modify                                          
  35. --------------------------------------------------------------------
  36.   
  37. Returns the data modified during a Point and Modify option to it's
  38. original value.  Works only on the most recent change.

  41. Print                                            
  42. --------------------------------------------------------------------

  44. Outputs the Chart to a printer. Be sure to Expand the size of
  45. the Chart Drawing window to its maximum in order to obtain 
  46. the largest possible image.  The Density setting in Preferences
  47. will also control the image size of your print out. If you have
  48. a color printer, be sure your printer Preferences are set to print
  49. in color.

  51. Print can also be accessed with:  Right Amiga Key with P

  54. Run Preferences                                           
  55. --------------------------------------------------------------------

  57. Will open the Amiga Preferences program on the Workbench screen allowing
  58. changes to the printer settings.

  61. Capture                                           
  62. --------------------------------------------------------------------

  64. The Capture selection will save the current screen image to a file
  65. in IFF ILBM (InterLeaved Bit Map) format.  This format is compatible
  66. with Deluxe Paint, so you may use Deluxe Paint or any other IFF
  67. compatible paint programs to enhance your Chart with other type
  68. fonts and illustrations.  When Capture is selected, a file selector
  69. will appear so you may specify the Capture file name and location.
  70. Capture will save the entire screen image so make sure the chart
  71. window is at full size covering the entire screen.

  77. Displays a Color Bar Selector for changing Colors of the Worksheet
  78. and the Chart.

  84. Allows for the insertion of text into chart windows.

  87. Text Color

  90. Sets the color to be used for the text added to the chart.

  93. Text Style

  96. Sets the style to be used for the text added to the chart.

  102. The Close menu selection will close the Chart Drawing window. 
  103. It has the same effect as clicking on the close box in the top
  104. left corner of the Chart window.

  107. CHART TYPE MENU ITEMS

  109. The Chart Drawing Window has a Menu listing of all of the available
  110. Chart Types in MaxiPlan.  To change the Chart Type of the Chart
  111. drawn, simply select a different Menu Item.

  113. CHART OPTIONS MENU ITEMS
  114.  
  115. Each particular Chart Type has different options.
  116. The options available though not applicable to each Chart Type
  117. are:

  119. *  Axis
  120. *  Edges
  121. *  Grid
  122. *  0.0 Break
  123. *  Scale
  124. *  Smart Labels
  125. *  Symbols
  126. *  3 Variables
  127. *  Ticks
  128. *  Dither

  130. *  Borderless
  131. *  Interpolation Lines
