  8.   The Great Langdale valley in the English Lake District is an ideal place
  9.   for the study of geography for a wide range of students. The Langdale
  10.   CD brings that wonderful resourc to the classroom, where it can be used
  11.   as preparation for, or follow up to, a field study course, or directly
  12.   as an in-depth study of a very special area.

  14.   The massive resources on CD include over 5000 ground and air photographs,
  15.   overlays, OS maps, graphs, charts, texts, data and sounds. Students (of
  16.   all ages!) can explore the river, valley, villages and surrounding
  17.   mountains through the use of 8 applications covering land use, river
  18.   development and land forms, developing an intimate knowledge of Langdale
  19.   and a deep understanding of the Lake District landscape and way of life.
