- 3. Speak to Batlin at the Fellowship, and inform him you want to join
- the Fellowship.
- 4. Take the package to give to Elynor in Minoc.
- 5. Speak with the mayor, Millie, Gordon, and Clint, the shipwright.
- 6. Go to the museum and acquire the moonstones.
- 7. Obtain the Mark and Recall spells as soon as you are able.

- Speak to Rudyom, get the wand and 4 four pieces of blackrock.
- Read his notebook.

- Go to the sawmill as fast as you can.
- Talk to everyone outside.
- Take the dagger from the murder scene.
- Talk to Margareta and learn your fortune.

- Talk to Feridwyn.
- Head to Jhelom.
- Should you not be able afford a ship by now, go to the western
- entrance to the dungeon Despise (next the Lost Lake surrounded by
- mountains NW of Britain) and get the flying carpet, then follow the
- north shore of the river that feeds the lake and it will be sitting
- there.

- In Paws, buy the hourglass from Beverlea.

- *** JHELOM ***

- Speak to Joseph the mayor.
- Talk to DeSnel about the serpentine dagger you found in Minoc.

- *** BRITAIN ***

- 1. Go to Britain again and talk to Batlin.
- 2. Go to Destard, located to the SW of paws on the west side of the
- mountains.
- 3. Invisibility is needed here.
- 4. Take a glass sword.
- 5. Go back to Britain, and join the Fellowship at 9 pm that night.
- 6. Batlin will ask you 2 of 3 question: Ginseng must be boiled 40
- times and Mandrake can be found in 2 places in Britannia. The answer
- to the picture question is 6.
- 7. Wear your Fellowship amulet.

- Find Auston the mayor.
- If you go to Moonglow, be careful what you say if you go into the
- gargoyle tavern.

- *** MOONGLOW ***

- Speak to Rankin, the Fellowship branch leader. While you are here,
- awaken Penumbra who has been asleep since your last visit to Britannia.

- Next to the door of her house is a plaque; read it repeatedly and you
- will learn how to open the door (by placing a hammer, gold ring,
- lockpick, spindle of thread, and some other form of gold next to the
- plaque). Open the door.

- Once inside, awaken Penumbra with your Awaken spell or by using a
- potion.

- Put the blackrocks on the pedestals in her room and talk to her
- again.

- *** TERFIN ***

- Talk to everyone, Draxinusom and Quan in particular.

- *** MEDITATION ***

- Find the omniscient Time Lord. Proceed to the Empath Abbey west of
- Yew.

- *** EMPATH ***

- Speak to Taylor the monk.
- Go to the Bee Cave and get two or three clumps of honey.

- With the honey, you are able to talk to Trellek the Emp about finding
- the Wisps.

- If you're having troubles finding the Emps, look for the giant white
- Silverleaf trees in the woods.

- Get Trellek permission from Saralek who needs permission from
- Solomon, the Emp leader.

- Get the treaty signed by going to Ben's cabin, on the very western
- edge of the forest near the shore.

- Proceed to Spiritwood to find the Wisps (near Destard).

- *** THE ***

- Blow the whistle when you're near a Wisp and it will talk to you.
- Bring them Alagner's notebook and they will offer you information.
- Go to New Magincia.

- *** NEW ***
-
- Get Alagner's notebook by answering the questions of Life and Death
- which must be accomplished by asking the Tortured One in Skara Brae.
- If you have not got a Seance spell yet, go get one and walk towards
- Skara Brae.

- *** SKARA ***
-
- 1. Use the Seance spell and hitch a ride from the Ferryman.
- 2. Talk to everyone (especially Mordra).
- 3. Pick up the Mandrake Essence (the glowing potion), an empty vial,
- a curing potion, and potion of Invisibility at Mordra's pad.
- 4. Proceed to the Smithy and talk to Trent.
- 5. Get the music box and go to the Dark Tower in the NW edge of the
- isle.
- 6. Use the music box near Rowena and take her ring to Trent.
- 7. Take the completed cage and go to the Alchemist's.
- 8. Destroy the Liche and Caine will answer the questions.
- 9. Plug the three potions and the empty vial into the thingamajig and
- turn the burner on.
- 10. Take the blue potion and the cage to the Dark Tower.
- 11. Head the back of the Tower (through the fake wall by the stairs)
- and use the cage on the Well.
- 12. Proceed to the throne room and wait for midnight.
- 13. Drop the cage over him and use the potion when Horance lies down.
- 14. Talk to Forsythe the mayor.
- 15. Find and talk to everyone in the town, including those who you've
- talked to already.
- 16. After everyone refuses to sacrifice themselves, Forsythe will
- agree.
- 17. Take him to the Well and destroy it.
- 18. Go to Caine and discover that there are no answers to Life and
- Death.

- Head to New Magincia, and tell him there are no Answers.
- Get the key, find the notebook in his storeroom and take it to the
- Wisps.

- Use your Orb to beam to the Time Lord. Go to Alagner's to return his
- notebook, you'll find him dead. Use his crystal ball.

- *** SPEKTRAN ***

- Approach the door to the Sultan's place. Kill his harpy by using
- invisibility or a glass sword (but make sure you have one when you
- leave) and take its key. Stack the crates on the table.
- Go to Moonglow and have Penumbra enchant the ring.

- *** DECEIT ***
-
- 1. Follow all the hallways and find the false walls (try walking into
- the dark areas and you'll see what I mean).
- 2. Before approaching the generator, drop all your party members and
- put on the Ring.
- 3. Try to have a glass sword here but it is not necessarily needed.
- 4. Corner him and use plenty of healing and protection potions, kill
- him with any magical weapon.
- 5. Click on the box in the middle of the room.
- 6. Get the miniature tetrahedron sitting on the ground.
- 7. Leave Deceit.
- 8. Have Nicodemus enchant your hourglass.

- 1. Do not enter the northeastern entrance to Despise.
- 2. Use the entrance on the Lake, where you found the flying carpet.
- 3. Get around the teleporters and follow the tunnels east of the
- entrance.
- 4. Find the Spherical Generator in the tunnels which burrow around to
- the Southwest side of the lake.
- 5. Find a moongate puzzle inside. The correct sequence is RED, BLUE,
- BLUE, RED.
- 6. Get the small Sphere and leave.

- Mark the Cube Generator cave so you can beam back later.
- After reaching the Cube, contact the Time Lord by using the
- hourglass.

- Go to Ambrosia.

- *** AMBROSIA ***

- Go to Ambrosia, located in the NE sea of Britannia.
- Find the cave on this island where the Caddellite is located.
- Kill the guardian Hydra, and take one chunk of Caddellite per party
- member (or just one if you plan on approaching the Cube alone.
- Take the Caddellite to Zorn in Minoc.

- *** MEDITATION ***

- Beam back to the Cube and go inside wearing your special helmet.
- Save the game a lot to find how cross the walkway
- Once the Cube crumbles, take the little cube and go to Buccaneer's
- Den.

- *** BUCCANEER'S DEN ***
-
- 1. Talk to Danag at the Fellowship Branch.
- 2. Speak with Sintag at the House of Games and get the key from him.
- 3. Go into the door in the Games, it leads into the mountain passages
- where Hook's hideout is.
- 4. Find the navigational plans for the Crown Jewel, and the Black
- Gate key used to get past the barrier on the
- 5. Isle of the Avatar.
- 6. Proceed to the Black Gate!

- *** ISLE OF THE AVATAR ***

- 1. If you're not 8th level by this time and cannot cast some very
- strong spells, do some experience-collecting before going here.
- 2. Pass the barrier using the key from Hook's place and go the
- dungeon.
- 3. Tips for the dungeon:
- 4. It is not necessary to kill the dragon.
- 5. The Chair of Change teleports you to one of three places in the
- dungeon if you sit in it. At each location it
- 6. takes you, inspect all the walls for hidden passages.
- 7. Sitting in the Throne of Virtue will make the Chair of Change take
- you to a fourth place, necessary to get to the Gate.
- 8. In the "Fellowship Hall" try fiddling with the medallion.
- 9. Watch out for the Paladin guarding one of the last doors.
- 10. Take the mage's spellbook from his room.
- 11. Should you still not be able to find the Black Gate room, try
- looking for any keys you might have missed. Also poke on every wall
- you see, there's lots of illusionary walls.

- *** THE BLACK GATE ***

- After a little bickering, they will attack you.
- If you have the spell Death Vortex, cast it on yourself.
- You can now return home or use Rudyom's Wand on the Gate.
