- *** The Dump ***

- Go through the rubbish dump and get a shoe, a straight nail, a broken
- flask and some whole flasks.
- Should you find an orange peel, use it on Malcolm.

- *** The Castle Gate ***

- When you obtain the scissors, cut both pennants for extra points, but
- if you don't get the scissors, a broken flask will do just as well.
-
- *** The Prison ***
-
- Follow the instructions precisely.
- Don't leave the scissors on the floor.
-
- *** The Bluff ***
-
- Enter the machine at any time, which takes you to the Town Center.
-
- *** Out of Town ***
-
- In order to get the mime's outfit, place an eel in the mime's hood;
- hang about till he turns around.
- If he does not, the time is not yet - so go elsewhere.
- When you succeed, he will proceed to the Baths but to follow him you
- need to have tied the nut-on-a-string to a hooked nail and use that
- on the coin box.

- *** The Baths ***

- Ensure that the moodometer is at lying before you go in.

- Take a couple of logs from here.

- *** Cow Shed ***

- Take several flasks full of water.
- Combine the seeds with the water and get a seedling.
- Place that in the hopper five times so that the arrow is pointing at
- the red number.
- Puncture the milk container with a straight nail to get some cream
- with a flask.

- *** Town Center: ***
-
- *** The Toy Factory ***
-
- 1. Open the padlock with a straight nail.
- 2. Go through the other door to Malcolm's pad.
- 3. Look in the drawers and get the nut-and-string and the staff under
- the bed.
- 4. Combine the nut with a bent nail to get the fishing tackle.
- 5. Flip through the family album.
- 6. Proceed to the factory and click on the large book.
- 7. Place a log in the funnel of the machine and press the green
- button.
- 8. Manipulate the two antennae-like appendages on the machine and
- click on the book again.
- 9. Should it be a ball, place the shoe in the funnel and press the
- green button.
- 10. Repeat the routine again with the antennae and book; you can get
- a toy horse by putting a log in the funnel and pressing the green
- key. You should end up with three toys.

- *** The Cellar ***
-
- 1. Go down the hole into the cellar.
- 2. Fill all your flasks with water.
- 3. Note the bricked wall.
- 4. When you are given the right information, you can combine sesame
- seeds with an eel to get fertilized seeds , put them among the
- bricks, fill a flask with water and use that on the seeds.
- 5. If you click on the shell and use an empty flask on it you get a
- portal potion which you can use in the Arena.
- 6. Go up the stairs to the Town Hall.

- *** Darm's ***
-
- Visit this area in disguise.
- Go visit Darm and he will ask for a fishcream sandwich.
- Give it to him and talk both to him and to the dragon.
- Use all your items on them to see if they give you any useful
- information.
- Use the staff on Darm repeatedly till he leaves the room and then
- speak to the dragon.

- *** Town Hall ***

- Give the statue a sandwich and then talk to it.
- Try your items on it and see if you can get any clues from it.

- *** The Fishcream Parlour ***

- Get some seeds, the nut-and-string and go to the dump.
- Put the seeds on the log on which the squirrel is standing (near you)
- and use the nut on it to hypnotize it. Pick it up and go to the
- Parlour.
- Go to the front and put the squirrel on the floor.
- Use the nut on the squirrel.
- Exit.

- *** The Magician Lodge ***

- Lie when you talk to Zanthia.
- Pull the alarm to empty the parlour, but unfortunately, it is then
- locked up.

- *** The Strange Boy ***

- Find the Strange Boy in City Limits.
- Offer him three toys and get try to get three sandwiches in exchange.

- *** The Crossroads ***

- Use the scissors or broken glass to get a flower.

- Switch to nice.
- Use the flowers on the grave to speak to the ghost.

- Proceed to the point and use the string and hook contraption to get
- eels.
- Dressed up as the mime and carrying a sandwich, talk to the dog.
- Poke him with something sharp.
- Sail to the Isle of Cats.

- *** PART II: THE ISLE OF CATS ***
-
- 1. Be nice and talk both to the cat and the dog.
- 2. Don't wander into the jungle.
- 3. Click on the cart.
- 4. Should you turn up at the Pirates, talk to them all but get back
- on the cart.
- 5. Find a machete in the Dog Fort.
- 6. Go into the jungle.
- 7. Jump into puddles wherever you see them.
- 8. From the Dog Fort go left, left, left and up and collect all the
- bones you find along the way.
- 9. Lie to Fluffy when you talk to her.
- 10. Go left, up and up, again, collecting bones.
- 11. Talk to the dog leaning on some rocks.
- 12. Either give him a bone, in which case he'll go off and bury it at
- random, or you can place a bone where you want him to dig.
- 13. You must get six gems when the dog is burying his bones, so, when
- you run out of bones, go right, clear the jungle, get more bones and
- go right again.

- 19. Use each gem on the altar to find out what they represent and
- make a note of it.
- 20. Go left and use the mouse on one of the balls.
- 21. Match the gems with the statues.
- 22. Find your own way to the pirates, since the cats are no longer
- pulling carts; from the altar, right, left, left, up, right, left,
- right, right.
- 23. Speak to the captain.
- 24. When asked to perform magic, use the mouse on the one-legged
- pirate.

- *** PART III: THE ENDS OF THE EARTH ***
-
- 1. Buy insurance, the fins and the cleats (press on the next button
- for that).
- 2. Put on the cleats.
- 3. Put the shoehorn in the inventory.
- 4. Press next the button for the brolly and use the shoehorn on the
- machine.
- 5. Remove the cleats by clicking with the shoehorn on Malcolm.
- 6. Click twice on the first barrel.
- 7. Climb up using the cleats (click up to the left of the screen).
- 8. Swing across with the brolly (click with it on the hook).
- 9. Move to the extreme left and use the brolly.
- 10. Enter the cave.
- 11. Go to the left and use the brolly.
- 12. Enter the cave.
- 13. Remove the brolly by using the cover on Malcolm.
- 14. Put the fins on (click them on Malcolm) and use the bungee string
- to get across (click it on the nearest hoop).
- 15. Climb up with the cleats, then climb again, swing across with the
- brolly and swim up.
- 16. Enter the cave.
- 17. If you haven't reached your destination, as you come out you can
- do any old thing; you need to die and end up at the top again.
- 18. At the top, get the toy float and the brolly.
- 19. Take the second barrel.
- 20. Wear the toy and inflate the flower fully.
- 21. Still wearing the toy, click on the flower to jump across.
- 22. Go into the cave.
- 23. Exit, jump with the toy.
- 24. Swing across with the brolly and jump down again to the next
- cave.

- *** LIMBO ***

- *** PART IV: FISH WORLD AND UNDERWORLD ***

- 1. Switch to lying and lose the game of Tic Tac Toe.
- 2. Click on the queen and lie to her until she gives you leave to go.
- 3. Change to nice, go back in and talk to the merman in the
- background.
- 4. Exit, pick up the key, exit top left, use the staff on the fish to
- the left and when the perch turns to the side, swipe his apple.
- 5. From the university, go left and watch.
- 6. Speak to the fish by the gate, being nice.
- 7. Take the fondue set.
- 8. Enter the water course and pull the lever.
- 9. Take two objects each time you land in the Dump.

- 16. When you have the money, go to the cannon and give five coins to
- the fish.
- 17. Change to nice and talk to the guy on the line.
- 18. Talk to the woman at the table.
- 19. Play Tic Tac Toe against your will.
- 20. When you are free, take another ride on the chute and take a
- newspaper from the dump.
- 21. Use the coin and newspaper on Malcolm.
- 22. Switch to normal and go to the queen.
- 23. Talk to her.
- 24. When there are seven "pieces" on the board, drop the newspaper
- and use the coin on it.
- 25. Exit and go to the cannon again.
- 26. Still "normal", talk to the fish and he will let you go for
- another coin.
- 27. In hell, switch to nice and speak to the guy to get ahead of him
- in the queue.
- 28. Watch what happens.
- 29. Talk to people until you go to the Boondocks.
- 30. Use the machine and you will find yourself in Kyrandia.

- *** PART V: BACK IN KYRANDIA ***

- 1. Go to the Castle.
- 2. Talk to everyone there.
- 3. Visit the dump, if you like, and see if you can pick up anything
- useful but make sure you get a nail, a log, a whole flask and, later,
- a broken one.
- 4. Go to the old Baths which is now a Pawn Broker.
- 5. He will sell you seeds for the items he asks - if you don't have
- that particular item, leave and enter once more, and make another
- attempt.
- 6. Go to Malcolm's pad and find the portrait under the bed.
- 7. Go to the cellar and travel to Darm's.
- 8. Go up the stairs and have a look around and talk to the statue.
- 9. Try using the items you are carrying on it, to find out whether
- they are any use.
- 10. Go back to the cellar.
- 11. Exit by clicking on the pipe hole to the right of the door.
- 12. At the factory, use the log to make a toy horse.
- 13. Exit the factory and peek through the window of the Magician's
- Lodge.
- 14. Use a nail on the door and go in.
- 15. Use a nail on the lock to free the three "mice".
- 16. Return to the cellar and up the stairs and you'll find the
- magician at work.
- 17. Talk to her and then put the horse in the cauldron she is
- stirring.
- 18. Wait till it goes brown and use an empty flask on it.
- 19. Exit through the door and then through the pipe.
- 20. Make your way to the Pegasus Landing and use the potion.
- 21. Pick up the machete and go left, left, left, right (Old Dog
- Fort), left, left, left, up (Fluffy), collecting bones as you go.
- 22. You'll need ten so give him what you have and, if you don't have
- enough, go left, left and up.
- 23. Go right and you'll be at the altar.

- 39. Go to the Fishcream Parlour and make some cheese to give to the
- Fisherman and talk to him.
- 40. Exit and visit the Pawn Broker with your jewels and buy some
- goods for fun.
- 41. Try buying the dagger and picking it up and see what happens but
- save the game beforehand, just in case.
- 42. Return to the Parlour.
- 43. He will ask for the ingredients needed to get the machine going
- so get them.
- 44. Put them in the funnel.
- 45. Exit.
- 46. Visit the pirate ship at the dock and click around.
- 47. Return to the Parlour and ask the Fisherman to get everyone to
- the Town Hall.
- 48. Continue to the Old Town Hall and to the statue.
- 49. Click on it till it asks you about the ingredients for the
- seance.
- 50. Pick up the crumpled portrait and click it on the magic cabinet
- to the left.
- 51. Click again on the statue and it will ask you for the ingredients
- to get the Kyrandians together.
- 52. Give him the sandwich.
- 53. Make with the portrait and the cabinet again.
