  2. THE ELDER SCROLLS

  4. To recieve 536 million gold pieces,
  5.  
  6. (please note: this is the exact text I recieved.  Since I have
  7. yet to play the game, I could not change it into real english
  8. without possibly screwing up the cheat...)
  9.  
  10. This is what you have to do: go to a city on Heart's Day 
  11. ( I think it's the 16th of HearthFire, but I don't remember
  12. if this is the correct month name, check in the manual to find
  13. the correct date for Heart's Day ).  This may take some doing --
  14. you'll need to travel from city to city until you find some city
  15. or town that you are expected to reach on Heart's Day ( given
  16. your travelling time ). On this day, the inns are supposed to 
  17. give you a room for free.  Just drop by an inn and ask to 
  18. Get a Room.  The innkeeper will say that the rooms are free for 
  19. 24 hours.  Then if you look at your character sheet, you'll have 
  20. 536 million gold.  It looks as if this particular bug got by the 
  21. playtesters.  The nice thing about this is that you no longer 
  22. have to worry about buying spells ( I went on a shopping frenzy )
  23.  and you can buy any item you want!  I no longer have to bargain 
  24. with NPCs for deals and can finance all my artifact map finding 
  25. missions.  In fact, I have so much money that I don't know what 
  26. to do with it all...

  28. How to use the Oghma Infinium to raise your stats:
  29.  
  30. a) Ask people until the tell you about the Oghma Infinium.
  31. b) Discover the Infinium (stand in front of it) but DON'T USE it NOW !
  32. c) save your game in the FIRST game-slot
  33. d) Now use the Infinium and distribute the 50 bonus points as you like
  34. e) save the game again in the SECOND game-slot !
  35. f) quit the game
  36. g) type the following at the dos-prompt IN your arena directory:
  37.          xcopy saveengn.01 saveengn.00
  38.    or maybe ( copy /b saveengn.01 saveengn.00 if you don't have xcopy)
  39.  
  40. h) start the game again and LOAD from the FIRST game-slot.
  41.    You will now have the 50 points you had distributed in d).
  42.    The chest with the Infinium is still closed   ;)
  43. i) restart at d) as often as you like.

  45. (But you dont even need the omega infinium to get 100 on all stats!)
  46. Simply make up 3 spells:
  47.  
  48. First Magic Boost which boosts Intell, Wisd and Agil
  49. Second Battle Boost which boosts Strength, Speed and Con
  50. Third     Charisma     which boosts Luck and Personality
  51.  
  52. Set them to enhance your attributes the max you need for the max rounds 
  53. (95) and then to decrease quickly  ... they last a long time and cost about 
  54. 1500 gold to create, casting cost is minimal at level 15 or so.
