  12. INTRODUCTION
  13. A number of separate tools comprises HTML PowerTools for Windows.
  14. While separate in purpose, many work together. They are intended
  15. to be used as a 'suite' of utilities to assist the HTML developer.
  16. Their primary purpose is to automate difficult or time-consuming
  17. tasks that HTML developers are now doing manually.

  23. INSTALLATION
  24. To install the HTML PowerTool with which this README file is
  25. included, do the following:
  26.  
  27. 1. Copy all files included in the distribution ZIP file to a
  28.    temporary directory on your hard disk (or a floppy disk).
  29.  
  30.    Important: if you have more than one HTML PowerTool ZIP
  31.    file, you must unzip each into its OWN temporary directory
  32.    or floppy disk (or erase all temporary files from one before
  33.    installing the next).
  34.  
  35. 2. Make sure that you have a copy of VBRUN300.DLL in your
  36.    Windows or Windows\System directory. If you do not have
  37.    this file, refer to http://www.tali.com/dlvbrun300.html
  38.  
  39. 3. Run SETUP.EXE from Windows.
  40.  
  41. 4. If you have already installed one or more 16-bit HTML
  42.    PowerTools, you should install this one in the same
  43.    directory where the previous ones are installed.
  44.  
  45. 5. After installation, you may delete all the files from the
  46.    temporary directory.

  48. Important installation note: On some systems the Setup
  49. program is either unable to create program icons, or they
  50. are created in the active group rather than the specified
  51. group. In such cases, you will have to create the icons
  52. yourself.

  55. UN-INSTALLATION
  56. To remove this application from your system, simply delete all
  57. files in the installation directory. This application has been
  58. designed to be 'system-friendly' and does not install ANY 
  59. components outside its installation directory.

  62. SHAREWARE DISTRUBUTION AND REGISTRATION POLICY
  63. This software is distributed freely for evaluation purposes
  64. only. Any individual or company wishing to use this software
  65. for its intended purpose after a 30-day evaluation period is
  66. required to register the software with the developer.
