HTML PowerTools for Windows (16-bit versions) ============================================= This file contains: + Introduction + Installation Instructions + Un-installation + Shareware Distribution and Registration Policy + How to Contact the Developer INTRODUCTION A number of separate tools comprises HTML PowerTools for Windows. While separate in purpose, many work together. They are intended to be used as a 'suite' of utilities to assist the HTML developer. Their primary purpose is to automate difficult or time-consuming tasks that HTML developers are now doing manually. For complete information on all HTML PowerTools, please visit Talicom at http://www.tali.com. INSTALLATION To install the HTML PowerTool with which this README file is included, do the following: 1. Copy all files included in the distribution ZIP file to a temporary directory on your hard disk (or a floppy disk). Important: if you have more than one HTML PowerTool ZIP file, you must unzip each into its OWN temporary directory or floppy disk (or erase all temporary files from one before installing the next). 2. Make sure that you have a copy of VBRUN300.DLL in your Windows or Windows\System directory. If you do not have this file, refer to http://www.tali.com/dlvbrun300.html 3. Run SETUP.EXE from Windows. 4. If you have already installed one or more 16-bit HTML PowerTools, you should install this one in the same directory where the previous ones are installed. 5. After installation, you may delete all the files from the temporary directory. Important installation note: On some systems the Setup program is either unable to create program icons, or they are created in the active group rather than the specified group. In such cases, you will have to create the icons yourself. UN-INSTALLATION To remove this application from your system, simply delete all files in the installation directory. This application has been designed to be 'system-friendly' and does not install ANY components outside its installation directory. SHAREWARE DISTRUBUTION AND REGISTRATION POLICY This software is distributed freely for evaluation purposes only. Any individual or company wishing to use this software for its intended purpose after a 30-day evaluation period is required to register the software with the developer. To register this software, please visit www.tali.com. Up-to-date pricing and ordering information appears there. Registration entitles you to (1) download a registered version from our Website, (2) receive technical support, and (3) one year of free program upgrades, as they become available. Some of our freely distributed versions are limited in some way. We acknowledge the inconvenience of this approach to many users, and realize that some will not be interested in evaluating anything but a fully-functional product. Our apologies, but we feel that due to the high rate of software piracy in today's market, we need to protect our investments in our products. In return, we commit to the highest-quality product and customer service. Thank you for your support.
