File MSVHP1.DOC 2 March 1991
This is to announce MS-DOS Kermit 3.10 for the Hewlett Packard HP 150
Computer. There are a number of enhancements over the previous
2.32 version. An overview of key new features:
(a) The application softkeys are programmed so common commands
can be performed in connect mode by pressing the
appropriate function key.
(b) The firmware Tetronix emulator can be entered either by
pressing f1 in connect mode or with the standard auto-entry
commands (see msvhp1.hlp).
(c) For DOS versions greater than 2.01, the firmware terminal
emulator can be entered by pressing f2 in connect mode.
(d) Set baud now works.
(e) Maximum speed without flow control is greater than
2400 baud.
Files are:
(a) msvhp1.boo ---the executable in boo format
(b) msvhp1.hlp ---documentation on Kermit 3.10 for HP portables
(c) msvhp1.doc ---this announcement file
(d) msxhp1.asm ---system dependent source code
(e) msuhp1.asm ---keyboard source code
(f) msvhp1.lnk ---Link input file

Please let me know if you encounter any problems. I welcome any comments or
suggestions. I wasn't able to test the code on the Touchscreen II, so
feedback from users of this machine will be appreciated.
