  12. The Highlights of AstroWorld '98 
  13. With our software you may create individual natal charts, synastry-,
  14. solar-, lunar- transit-, combine- and composite charts.

  16. System Requirements 
  17. You will need Windows 95 or NT 4.0, at least 16 MB RAM, better 32 and
  18. for best performance a Pentium-Processor. 
  19. MS Internet Explorer 3.02 or higher
  20.  
  21. Attention: 
  22. In order to reduce the size of the Demo-Download-Version of AstroWorld '98
  23. we integrated a smaller database of locations (4000 worldwide,
  24. instead of 125.000) as well as a reduced text-database. In case you
  25. order the registered or pro version you will receive 125.000 locations as
  26. well as a text-database containing natal-, transit and
  27. combine/composite reports.

  34. Known Problems:
  35.  
  36. 1. Division by zero in User.exe
  37.  
  38. Cause:
  39. AstroWorld 98 uses components of the MS Internet Explorer (min. 3.02)
  40. Either your MS Internet Explorer 3.02 is not installed or the installation is not
  41. correct.

  43. Solution:
  44. Install the MS Internet Explorer (min. 3.02)
  45. This can be found at http://www.microsoft.com/ie/

  48. 2. Microsoft Visual C++ RunTime Error - Abnormal Program Termination
  49.  
  50. Cause:
  51. During the installation of AstroWorld 98 the file mfc42.dll was in use und could
  52. not be overwritten by our Setup.
  53.  
  54. Solution:
  55. Delete the file mfc42.dll from the Windows/System(Win95) or Windows/System32(NT4.0)
  56. directory. Usually the Windows/System directory can be found on the hard drive C:.
  57. After you have deleted this file start the AW98 installation again. Now Setup will
  58. install mfc42.dll correctly.

  61. 3. The Jet VBA file (vbajet.dll for 16bit version or vbajet32.dll for 32bit version)
  62. failed to initialize when called...
  63.  
  64. Solution:
  65. Delete the file vbajet32.dll from the Windows/System(Win95) or
  66. Windows/System32(NT4.0) directory. Usually the Windows/System directory can be
  67. found on the hard drive C:. After you have deleted this file start the AW98
  68. installation again. Now Setup will install VBAJET32.dll correctly..

  71. 4. Could not initialize DAO 35 JetEngine
  72.  
  73. Cause:
  74. The DAO 35 JetEngine was not correctly registered in the Windows Registry.
  75.  
  76. Solution:
  77. The file \Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\Dao\dao350.dll has to
  78. be registered manually.
  79. Usually the directory \Program Filese\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\Dao\ can be
  80. found on the hard drive C:.
  81.         
  82. Execute the command Start-Run:            
  83. C:\Windows\System\regsvr32.exe "C:\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\Dao\dao350.dll".

  85. Tip: Copy this command into the Start-Run dialogbox. Change the name of the
  86. directory if necessary and confirm with OK.

  88. In case this error should persist close all running applications and delete the
  89. following files:
  90.     \Windows\System\Oleauth32.dll 
  91.     \Windows\System\OlePro32.dll 
  92.     \Windows\System\Msjet35.dll

  94. Install AstroWorld 98 again.

  98. 5. An Unsupported Operation was attempted 
  99.  
  100. Cause:
  101. The file msflxgrd.ocx from the Windows/System directory was not correctly
  102. registered in the Windows Registry.
  103.  
  104. Solution:
  105. The file \Windows\System\msflxgrd.ocx has to be registered manually.
  106. Usually the directory Windows/System can be found on the hard drive C:.
  107. so da▀ Sie die Datei msflxgrd.ocx im Verzeichnis: C:\Windows\System\ finden k÷nnen.

  109. Execute the command Start-Run:            
  110. C:\Windows\System\regsvr32.exe "C:\Windows\System\msflxgrd.ocx".
