  14.  SHAREWARE_SUPPORT is a product support echo open to all for the discussion,
  15.  chat, assistance, etc. of Shareware products.  Open to all authors, users,
  16.  distributors, support sites and everyone who uses shareware.

  18.  Posting a message in this echo will be understood by the Moderator to be a
  19.  declaration of your intent to abide by these and any other rules that may,
  20.  of necessity, be formulated.  *Post in English Only Please.*

  22.  1. The topics of this conference should be related to Shareware, Shareware
  23.     Support and, related to Shareware, including distributors, authors and
  24.     users alike.  
  25.  
  26. 2.  Avoid excessive quoting. Try to quote enough of the message so that
  27.     the person you are responding to understands the reply and can relate
  28.     it to what was being discussed.

  30. 3.  Users are requested to please consider both the QUALITY and QUANTITY
  31.     of what they post, keeping in mind the costs incurred for moving the
  32.     mail.

  34. 4.  If you feel that someone is out of line, please make the Moderator aware
  35.     of the situation through Netmail, and allow them to follow through.
  36.     DON'T FLAME.  Any messages not on-topic will be considered annoying.

  38.            In other words....  Be nice.  Play fair.

  40. 5.  Use of handles and or aliases is not allowed.  Those people who are
  41.     logged on to bbs's using an alias should post their real names
  42.     prominently in the body of each message they post.

  44. 6. Discussion of software piracy, including ways to 'register' unregistered
  45.     shareware will not be tolerated.  *CAUSE FOR IMMEDIATE BANISHMENT.*

  47. 7. There shall be no bashing of hardware, hardware manufacturers, software
  48.    programs, software authors or any other individuals. If you have a
  49.    problem with a program, company or piece of equipment and want to discuss
  50.    it in an effort to get some help, fine, but let's not tear something down
  51.    unless you can offer constructive suggestions for building it back up.
  52.               *There will not be any widget wars.*

  54.   That's it, except that if someone comes up with a new and improved way to
  55.   aggravate people, I reserve the right to make a rule to fit the occasion.
