  8.  Discussion of any cooking related BBQ or get together, whether professional
  9. or personal, is welcome in the echo. You may use this echo to plan a mini
  10. gathering, regional cook-off or get together.

  12. 1. Stay on topic.

  14. 2. Do not attack other participants.
  15.  
  16. 3. Keep your quoting to the minimum necessary to establish the context of
  17.    your reply. Unnessary quoting tends to make the telephone company richer &
  18.    SysOps poorer.

  20. 4. Real names are to be used in this conference.

  22. 5. Ads must be cleared by the moderator, before each posting.

  24. 6. Any person banned from the following echos will lose priviledges w/o
  25.    going through the usual channels. They will however be tolerated here as
  26.    long as they follow the rules.

  34. 7. COMPLAINTS: Any complaints should be sent to the echo moderator via
  35.    NETMAIL. Any complaint sent in the echo itself, either to the echo
  36.    moderator or to the offending party, will be considered off-topic. The
  37.    echo moderator will be responsible for initiating any disciplinary action
  38.    against those who consistently ignore & break the conference rules. 3
  39.    warnings will be given prior to any sanction against a participant. If the
  40.    warnings fail to resolve the problem, the echo moderator will contact the
  41.    SysOp of the system the abusing participant is using & request that the
  42.    participant's access be removed.

  44. 8. Signatures shall be limited to a 4 line maximum.

  46. 9. High ASCII (127 & above) is not allowed except as required for recipes
  47.    such as Alt+171=½, Alt+172=¼ & Alt+248=°. In addition to taking more
  48.    transmission time, some people are visually impared so their computer
  49.    reads the messages to them. High ASCII causes problems w/ these readers.
