  9. The Physics Fidonet Conference is intended primarily for the discussion of
  10. physics and physics teaching.  Our goal is to stimulate the exchange of
  11. information and a wide-ranging discussion of physics related topics, including
  12. environmental and public-policy matters which have a physics aspect.  There
  13. are, however, other echomail conferences devoted to related topics - SCIENCE,
  14. ASTRONOMY, EDUCATOR, ECOLOGY, SPACE, etc. - and we would encourage people to
  15. use those echos for discussions which fall more naturally into those areas.

  17. Everyone is welcome to participate in this conference: students, teachers,
  18. scientists, and anyone else with an interest in the areas we cover.
  19.  
  20. Users should remember that echomail messages are sent to many boards far from
  21. their local bbs, and that personal messages, advertisements, and messages of
  22. purely local interest should not be entered in echomail areas.  Sysops do not
  23. want to pay the telephone costs to import messages of no interest to their
  24. users.  Also, if users enter inappropriate messages, please do not respond.
  25. The moderator will do so if and when that becomes necessary.
