  1. MED_MOANS Echo Rules (Sorry it had to come to this:-( )

  5. 1)  The purpose of this echo is to provide 
  6.     individuals with medically related 
  7.     questions and problems associated with
  8.     the medical community (ie: labs, insurance 
  9.     companies, hospitals, dr's, nurses, techs,
  10.     Billing Dept's etc) a *BASH-free* zone where
  11.     various questions can be answered in a 
  12.     friendly environment... In other words, NO 
  13.     FLAMING!!!

  15. 2)  THIS IS A GENERALIZED echo!!! Please keep from
  16.     naming facilities, dr's, insurance co's, etc...
  17.     For example, "the facility I was just at..." "The 
  18.     goofey dr I was referred to..." etc!!! **DO NOT 
  19.     USE*** "Dr.Smith" at Mayo Clinic"... So keep things
  20.     GENERALIZED and we will all be happier;-)

  22. 3)  ALL posters are requested to stay "ON TOPIC"... 
  23.     Posters who fail to do that will be warned in 
  24.     netmail... IF it continues, the individual will
  25.     banned from the echo period!!! **IF an individual
  26.     is banned, a waiting period of 3 months is required
  27.     before I will consider the individuals request
  28.     IN NETMAIL***!!!

  30. 4)  REAL NAMES from posters is a requirement!!! 
  31.  
  32. 5)  Encrypted msgs are not allowed!!!
  33.  
  34. 6)  I will respond to "TEST" msgs from new posters to 
  35.     make sure they are sending and recieving ok;-)

  37. 7)  "high-bit" ASCII charactors and ANSI is never allowed!!!

  39. 8)  Cross-posting is allowed, but please, try not to spam the
  40.     galaxy!!! I don't want the BORG coming here to ASSIMULATE
  41.     us, OK!!!;-) So if you find something in another echo that
  42.     would be benificial here, by all share it... BUT *PLEASE* 
  43.     get permission from the original author... Unless the 
  44.     originator is you... We don't any trouble from our friends 
  45.     in FIDO;-)

  47. 9)  When quoting, *TRY* to do your best to keep it short... I 
  48.     know I have a habit of posting large segments, so I'm 
  49.     speaking to myself as well;-)

  51. 10) Personal attacks are *NOT* tolerated!!! Take those to 
  52.     NETMAIL!!!

  54. 11) Any additional rules will be added as needed... Let's hope 
  55.     this is enough!!! Rules will now be posted on a monthly basis
  56.     (how unfortunate it had to come to this!!!):-(
