I'll add the OS/2 Professional Development Kit..
This CD has LOTS of OS/2 utilities. I'll cite the previous one,
I didn't receive the latest version yet:
* Employee developped stuff, most of it can be found also at
ftp-os2.nmsu.edu.
* Beta software. I havent received the latest one, but the previous
one had Lan Server 3 Beta on it, along with new OS/2 2.1beta..
* The Multimedia Manager for OS/2. It also comes with many sample "movies"
sampled at different rates to show speed/image quality.
* And of course the IBM C++/2 32-bit Compiler (beta), Toolkit
(header files and utilities like a great application to
create entire interactive windows by dragging the items to your window.
* Oh yes, also, lots of documentation, including the printable versions
of it, the entire toolkit's documentation, lots of stuff on
PM software development, System Object Model, resource compiler,
System functions reference, Rexx Users Guide/Reference Guide..
The previous CD was _full_. Over 600 megabytes of stuff! I can't wait
for the next one.
I had sort-of-registered myself as a shareware software developper to their
DAP program, but they were not able to find my number (and I didn't know it),
so I am told that "others" can obtain it for 25 british pounds. So, I assume
it is available to general public - thus I am writing this message.
The number for "World-Wide Developers Assistance Program" is (44)285-641175.
It is in the UK, sorry, I dont know their U.S. number..
