  39. This posting serves to formally open the call for submissions for Commodo=

  41. Hacking #14, which will be published before or on September 2nd, 1996.  T=

  43. deadline for submissions is August 20, 1996.   Submission guidelines are
  44. available at http://www.msen.com/~brain/pub/c-hacking-submit.txt or from
  45. the C=3DHacking MAILSERV (send c-hacking-submit.txt).  All of the columns=

  47. departments in Issue 13 will be retained, and new ones will be added.

  49. Commodore Hacking is soliciting articles from developers that will be
  50. receiving the first shipments of the CMD SUperCPU accelerator, as well as=

  138. In light of this post, how do folks propose I change the distribution of =
  139. the
  140. magazine.  Evidently, this ARMM system will make publication of C=3DH and
  141. others like DisC=3Dovery impossible via the newsgroup.=20
  142.  
  143. As the FAQ maintainer (and the pseudo-contact person, though not really),
  144. I suppose I can ask that this newsgroup be excluded from the ARMM
  145. check list by marking it so. =20
  146.  
  147. However, I will not act until I hear from some of th regulars and
  148. new users of this group.
  149.  
  150. To state the obvious:
  151.  
  152. Commodore Hacking has traditionally been posted to the newsgroup as well
  153. as made available via email to present to the largest possible audience
  154. of Commodore owners.  Certain users either cannot receive large messages
  155. via email, while others simply do not have reliable email access.
  156. Most do not have either FTP or WWW access.  In the beginning, there was n=
  157. o
  158. binaries newsgroup to post to, and I am somewhat unconvinced there is
  159. one currently.
  160.  
  161. This magazine has been presented in comp.sys.cbm since 1991, when Craig
  162. Taylor posted the first issue.

  265. Hiya... I think maybe the cart youre after is called an ACTION REPLAY
  266. cart, and pretty much does everything you said, plus heaps more. I sold
  267. mine a while ago, but there are still some floating around, but they aint
  268. cheap. There are different versions, you pretty much dont want anything
  269. pre V5 :-)

  358. Here it is, a little terminal emulator for Commodore 64.
  359. It has 80 charachters per line, full VT100 emulation,=20
  360. (RS232C interface required) max. speed 2400 bps.
  361. I didn't finish upload & download routines, and probably
  362. never will, 'coz i really dont have time to do that.
  363. The problem also is, that I never had a disk-drive, only tape.
  364. Asembler sux, all written in Monitor 49152, am I masochist ? ;)
  365. This piece of shit was written before 11 months, but i couldn't
  366. upload it on net until my friend found a way to do that.

  1164. Since these are really quite a lot of disks, I am looking for a very
  1165. fast transfer that preferably outputs a .D64 archive file. When I looked
  1166. at the AmiNET archives, I found that "1541.lha" was actually the program
  1167. that suits my needs. The problem is that I cannot get a 5.25" external=20
  1168. disk drive for my amiga anywhere.
