- Rule 1: There are no rules.
-
- Rule 2: See Rule 1.
-
- Seriously, It's my feeling that many of you out there have vast
- knowledge of various aspects of the CP/M world. The spreading of that
- knowledge is what keeps this world viable. In other words, we all
- need to pass on our experience in order to insure that CP/M continues
- to thrive.
-
- As support for CP/M dwindles, publications like PIPMAG become more
- and more important to our community. PIPMAG is your magazine. Your
- input is needed. Without the contributions of you, the readers,
- PIPMAG is sure to follow in the footsteps of its predecessors. With
- your help it will continue to grow, and CP/M users, quite literally
- all over the world, yourself included, will reap the benefits. Almost
- anything you submitt will be considered for publication.
-
- Have the hot set-up for the latest term program? Write it up and
- send it in! Have a template for your favorite database or spreadsheet
- that you think others could use or learn from? Send it in! Have you
- found something that would make using our CP/M machines easier or more
- enjoyable? Send it! Opinions are welcome. So are software and
- hardware reviews. Have a humorous anecdote that relates to CP/M?
- Send it in! I would especially like articles about games (which I
- don't play enough of), and Z-System. If you have developed a
- commercial product that you would like to advertise - well, maybe.
- Contact me via GEMail and we'll see.
-
- READ THE FOLLOWING PARAGRAPH!!
-
- Here's an incentive to all you would-be authors out there.
- Beginning with PIPMAG7 and continuing until further notice, the author
- of the any article published in PIPMAG will receive a one day Free
- Flag in the CP/M RoundTable. This means that on the weekday of your
- choice (during non-prime hours only), when you move into the CP/M
- RoundTable your terminal will beep and you'll see the message "Billing
- clock stopped.. no charges for this product." You can do a lot of
- downloading, working from 6:00 PM until 7:00 the next morning :-).
-
- To qualify for the Free Flag, articles need not be unpublished, but
- they must be your own work.
-
- The only things that will be rejected out-of-hand are outright
- obscenity, and anything legally actionable (y'know, slander, libel,
- violations of Copyright, and like that).
-
- Submissions may be uploaded to any CP/M library (FREE!), or sent to
- me via GEmail at either PIPMAG$, or BRAD-HARRIS. If uploaded to the
- libraries, be sure to note that it is for PIPMAG in either the short
- or long file description. Wordstar or straight ASCII format for text
- is appreciated. Compression types supported are ARK, ARC, ZIP, ZOO,
- LZH, or within .LBRs, SQUEEZE, CRUNCH, and LZH.
