  12. Not to sound like the voice of reason (me??  Nah.), but if 
  13. there isn't enough participation to get the job done, perhaps 
  14. there's not enough interest in having the standard.  In that
  15. case, abandon the problem for now until enough folks get interested.
  16. It'll happen if it's really important.  If not, then it's not
  17. ready for standardization.
