The Iris and Pupil
The iris is the coloured part of the eye.
It has a hole in the centre called the pupil. The iris contains muscles that regulate the amount of light coming into the eye.
If conditions are dark, the pupil gets wider. If it is very bright, the pupil gets smaller.
