- The files MENU.EXE and MENU.DAT are now installed in your \MCADAM directory.
- By entering the command: MENU, you will be presented with a list of all
- installed MICRO CADAM products. You can easily invoke any product by using
- the cursor keys to highlight the desired item, then pressing the Enter key
- to invoke that product. Editing the file MENU.DAT allows you to customize
- the menu for your installation. It should be noted that although you can
- list many products in the MENU.DAT file, only products actually existing
- on your hard disk will appear for selection. The MENU command must be
- re-entered when another product is to be invoked; none of the products
- currently chain back to the menu.
-
- The batch files 2CAD.BAT and 2OLD.BAT are provided in your \MCADAM directory
- and can be used to easily switch back and forth between MICRO CADAM PLUS and
- other products that might require a different CONFIG.SYS and/or AUTOEXEC.BAT.
- To use this facility, use the MCINSTAL command to automatically create the
- CONFIG.CAD and AUTOEXEC.CAD files, and DO NOT replace your old CONFIG.SYS and
- AUTOEXEC.BAT files. Then, use the command 2CAD to automatically switch over
- to the MICRO CADAM PLUS configuration. Your machine will be rebooted for you.
- Then, you can switch back to your old configuration by using the command 2OLD.
- Using these commands makes switching back and forth a painless process.
-
- The following documentation files can be found in the \MCADAM directory.
