  7.     carrying them towards the door. Just then, the door 
  8.     OPENS and Dukat ENTERS.

  14.                     SOLBOR
  15.             I'm returning them to the
  16.             archives.

  19.             On who's authority?

  21.                     SOLBOR
  22.             I believe her eminence has
  23.             finished....

  25.                     DUKAT
  26.                 (an order)
  27.             Put them back.

  30.             How dare you use that tone with

  33.     Dukat backhands him across the face, knocking Solbor 
  34.     off his feet.

  37.             Very well, I'll put them back.

  39.     And with that, Dukat pulls a frightened Solbor to 
  40.     his feet and shoves him out the door.

  42. 40   DUKAT THEN PICKS UP THE BOOKS

  44.     and carries them back to Winn's desk. Moving around 
  45.     to Winn's side of the desk, he stares down at the 
  46.     still-sleeping Kai.
  47.  
  48.     And as he studies this woman, his lover, the 
  49.     spiritual leader of the Bajoran people... his face 
  50.     betrays a mixture of curiosity, superiority and 
  51.     loathing. After a beat, he leans over and kisses 
  52.     her softly on the forehead.

  55.             Wake up, my love. There's work
  56.             to be done.
