  6.                     KEIKO
  7.             I brought something for you.
  8.  
  9.     Keiko extends the doll. Molly recoils. But Keiko just 
  10.     stands there, smiling, with the doll extended 
  11.     harmlessly in her hand.
  12.  
  13.                     KEIKO 
  14.             It's Lupi. Remember how she used 
  15.             to sleep right next to you on your 
  16.             pillow every night? She's missed 
  17.             you, Molly.
  18.  
  19.     Molly cocks her head slightly. Embers of memory begin 
  20.     to glow in her eyes. Keiko extends her arm fully and 
  21.     dangles the doll in front of her daughter.
  22.  
  23.                     KEIKO 
  24.             Go on, take her.
  25.  
  26.     Molly emits another soft whimper, moves forward a few 
  27.     cautious steps, then pauses -- eyes dancing 
  28.     suspiciously from Miles to Keiko, then back to the doll 
  29.     again. Keiko remembers all too vividly how her 
  30.     daughter attacked her in the cave and knows she might 
  31.     do it again.
  32.  
  33.     Suddenly, Molly darts forward, quick as a cat, and 
  34.     snatches the doll from her mother's grasp. Miles and 
  35.     Keiko share a look of relief, then watch with 
  36.     fascination as...
  37.  
  38. 37   MOLLY
  39.  
  40.     stares at the doll in her hands. Recognition floods 
  41.     her eyes. She strokes the fabric of its dress.
  42.  
  43.                     KEIKO 
  44.             Yes. That's right, it's Lupi. 
  45.             You remember now, don't you?
  46.  
  47.     Molly listens intently to the sound of her mother's 
  48.     voice, then looks at her parents and SMILES. It's the 
  49.     first time we've seen this expression and the effect is 
  50.     magical. Molly face is transformed and in this moment 
  51.     everything seems possible.
  52.  
  53.     O'Brien takes Keiko's hand and squeezes it tight. OFF 
  54.     their hopeful features...
  55.
