  11.     Jake notices the others have moved on without him and 
  12.     hurries to catch up.
  13.  
  14. 3    YET ANOTHER PASSAGE
  15.  
  16.     Occasional sections of ancient STONE WALL are exposed 
  17.     in the sediment. Sisko idly runs his hand along the 
  18.     venerable structure.
  19.  
  20.                     KORAL 
  21.             We're directly below the Temple of 
  22.             B'hala. These walls predate the 
  23.             ancient city by ten thousand 
  24.             years.
  25.  
  26.                     JAKE 
  27.             Who built this place?
  28.  
  29.                     KORAL 
  30.             We don't know much about the 
  31.             original inhabitants, but it 
  32.             appears they abandoned this site 
  33.             some twenty-five thousand years 
  34.             ago. Over time, sediment buried 
  35.             the ruins.
  36.  
  37.                     JAKE
  38.                 (catching on) 
  39.             And then B'hala was built on top 
  40.             of them.
  41.  
  42.                     KORAL 
  43.             Precisely.
  44.  
  45.     Koral comes to a halt before the inky black mouth of a 
  46.     chamber. The others stop behind him.
  47.  
  48.                     KORAL 
  49.             In here...
  50.  
  51.     A feeling of apprehension steals over them. Something 
  52.     about this place feels vaguely ominous.
  53.  
  54.     Koral steps into the opening and is swallowed by the 
  55.     darkness. It's an eerie moment. Challenged and 
  56.     curious, Sisko follows, his light reaching into the 
  57.     bleak opaque void.
