  14.             Romulans and the Dominion. If 
  15.             your conscience is bothering you, 
  16.             you should soothe it with the 
  17.             knowledge that you may have just 
  18.             saved the entire Alpha Quadrant. 
  19.             And all it cost was the life of 
  20.             one Romulan senator, one criminal, 
  21.             and the self-respect of one 
  22.             Starfleet Officer. I don't know 
  23.             about you, but I'd call that a 
  24.             bargain.

  33.             This morning, at oh-eight-hundred 
  34.             hours, station time... the Romulan 
  35.             Empire formally declared war 
  36.             against the Dominion. They've 
  37.             already struck fifteen bases along 
  38.             the Cardassian border.
  39.                 (beat) 
  40.             So it's a huge victory for the 
  41.             good guys... perhaps the turning 
  42.             point of the entire war. There's 
  43.             even a "Welcome to the Fight" 
  44.             party in the wardroom tonight.
  45.                 (beat) 
  46.             I lied. I cheated. I bribed men 
  47.             to cover up the crimes of other 
  48.             men. I was an accessory to 
  49.             murder. But most damning of 
  50.             all... I think I can live with it.
