  11.     Bashir sits on his bunk. Sisko leans against one wall 
  12.     of the antechamber, staring blankly at the opposite 
  13.     wall. An awkward silence hangs in the air between the 
  14.     two men. Bashir tries to bridge it with...

  16.                     BASHIR 
  17.             Sloan's right about one thing, 
  18.             sir. I should have told you the 
  19.             truth about me from the beginning.

  21.                     SISKO
  22.                 (turns to face him) 
  23.             That's right. You should have. 
  24.             But lets put that behind us for 
  25.             now.
  26.  
  27.     Bashir stands and paces in frustration.

  29.                     BASHIR 
  30.             How am I supposed to defend myself 
  31.             against this man? No matter what 
  32.             I say, he either thinks I'm lying 
  33.             or repressing my memories.

  35.     Sisko turns to him, his features troubled.

  40.     Bashir hears an unfinished thought in Sisko's words --

  46.                 (truly conflicted) 
  47.             As a doctor, isn't it within the 
  48.             realm of medical possibility that 
  49.             the Dominion did recruit you -- 
  50.             and that you have blocked it out 
  51.             of your memory?
