  10.             pilot. He was killed by a 
  11.             Dominion patrol.

  15.             Maybe he thinks I supplied the 
  16.             information that helped them 
  17.             target his son's ship.

  19.                     SLOAN'S VOICE 
  20.             That's exactly what I think.

  22.     Sisko and Bashir turn to find that Sloan has entered 
  23.     the room.

  26.                 (continuing) 
  27.             When my son's convoy dropped out 
  28.             of warp to rendezvous with a 
  29.             Klingon bird of prey, they found 
  30.             three Dominion attack ships 
  31.             waiting for them instead.

  34.             I'm sorry for your loss. But 
  35.             don't you think your son's death 
  36.             indicates a conflict of interest 
  37.             with your investigation?

  40.             I like to think that it gives me 
  41.             an added incentive to get to the 
  42.             truth. Now what is it you want?

  44.     Sisko has to fight to control his temper. Sloan's 
  45.     words gall him, but he knows it would play into Sloan's 
  46.     hands to allow himself to be baited.

  50.             officer in private.

  53.             I can understand that. But 
  54.             security protocols require that no 
  55.             one speak to the prisoner without 
  56.             clearance from me.
