  6.     Once O'Brien gets the filament in place, he TWISTS it, 
  7.     and the filament LOCKS into place.
  8.  
  9.     He leans against the socket for a moment, panting and 
  10.     sweating. More effects of hypoxia are starting to 
  11.     manifest themselves -- short, rapid breathing, slightly 
  12.     blue lips, dizziness and fatigue. O'Brien struggles to 
  13.     stay conscious and he turns to see...

  15. 88   BASHIR (OPTICAL) 
  16.  
  17.     who's working across the way from O'Brien. Bashir is 
  18.     struggling mightily to UNLOCK another filament. He can 
  19.     barely speak.
  20.  
  21.                     BASHIR 
  22.             Stuck...
  23.  
  24.     O'Brien moves to help. With his added force they TWIST 
  25.     the filament and it is released from the socket. Multi-
  26.     colored light sprays from the ferruled ends of the 
  27.     filaments.

  29.                     BASHIR 
  30.             Which... one... ?
  31.  
  32.     O'Brien looks around at the empty sockets across from 
  33.     them, trying to orient himself, but it's not easy. He 
  34.     finally points to one.
  35.  
  36.                     O'BRIEN 
  37.             That... no.
  38.                 (points to another one) 
  39.             That.
  40.  
  41.                     BASHIR
  42.             You... sure... ?
  43.  
  44.     O'Brien hesitates, then nods. They begin to drag the 
  45.     filament, but it's like dragging a heavy firehouse in 
  46.     their present condition. Finally they shove the 
  47.     filament into the socket. They push it into place... 
  48.     TWIST it, but instead of locking, the filament pops 
  49.     back out again.
