  11.     The compartment is shrouded in shadow and smoke, 
  12.     illuminated by EMERGENCY LIGHTS only. Blackened panels 
  13.     SPARK intermittently. Someone COUGHS. Dax climbs back 
  14.     into the pilot's chair, bleeding from her cheek. She 
  15.     struggles to reorient herself.
  16.  
  17.                     DAX
  18.             Chief?
  19.  
  20.     O'Brien's bruised face rises from the dark floor. He 
  21.     coughs again.
  22.  
  23.                     DAX
  24.             You okay?
  25.  
  26.     O'Brien eases himself into the seat beside her and 
  27.     begins working the controls and checking displays.
  28.  
  29.                     O'BRIEN
  30.             I think so.
  31.  
  32.     A disheveled Bashir reaches them, medkit in hand.
  33.  
  34.                     DAX
  35.             Julian?
  36.  
  37.                     BASHIR 
  38.                 (nodding)
  39.             I'm fine. You're not.

  41.     Bashir begins checking Dax with his tricorder. O'Brien 
  42.     tweaks a control, then bangs lightly on the edge of the 
  43.     panel. THE CABIN LIGHTS COME ON.
  44.  
  45.                     DAX
  46.             That's better.
