  7.     FRYING SEVERAL PANELS, and knocking Bashir off his 
  8.     feet. EMERGENCY LIGHTING comes on.

  11.             If we're going to get out of here, 
  12.             I need warp power now!

  14.                     O'BRIEN 
  15.                 (working)

  18. 8    INT. DEFIANT - BRIDGE (OPTICAL)

  20.     The helm console EXPLODES, killing the N.D. Helmsman. 
  21.     Kira rushes to the console and examines what's left of 
  22.     the readouts.
  23.  
  24.                     KIRA 
  25.             Shield generators and impulse 
  26.             engines are off-line, Captain. 
  27.                 (another check) 
  28.             Warp engines, too.
  29.  
  30.     ANOTHER VICIOUS HIT knocks Kira off her feet. 
  31.     BILLOWING GAS spurts onto Nog from a damaged panel. He 
  32.     stands and struggles to seal the leak. Sisko, the only 
  33.     other person still functional, leaves his seat and 
  34.     bends to check Kira's head wound. Suddenly, SECOND 
  35.     IXTANA'RAX and two other heavily armed N.D. Jem'Hadar 
  36.     MATERIALIZE. They spread out. Sisko turns, too late 
  37.     to draw his phaser, as a second group of three N.D. 
  38.     Jem'Hadar MATERIALIZE. Ixtana'Rax steps forward, his 
  39.     disruptor pointed at Sisko, itching for a reason to use 
  40.     it.
  41.  
  42.                     IXTANA'RAX 
  43.             Surrender or you will all be 
  44.             killed.
  45.  
  46.     Off Sisko, who's beginning to have a really bad day.
  47.
