  6.     The ship goes to Red Alert. Suddenly CRACKLES of 
  7.     ENERGY shake across some of the Bridge consoles, 
  8.     causing one to SPARK. The tendrils start to dissipate, 
  9.     but one lashes over and catches Kira's body.

  15. 10   KIRA (OPTICAL)
  16.  
  17.     As the tendrils snake over her, her muscles tense up, 
  18.     and for an instant we see a DOUBLE-IMAGE of her, as if 
  19.     she were slightly out of phase. A moment, then it's 
  20.     over -- the tendrils dissipate.
  21.  
  22.                     DAX
  23.                 (off console)
  24.             We're through...
  25.  
  26.     On the VIEWSCREEN, we see the curved horizon of the 
  27.     planet, and the energy barrier in the distant 
  28.     background. Sisko moves to Kira, who's trying to clear 
  29.     her head.

  31.                     SISKO 
  32.             Are you all right?
  33.  
  34.                     KIRA 
  35.             I think so...
  36.  
  37.                     SISKO
  38.                 (to com)
  39.             Doctor Bashir to the Bridge...
  40.  
  41.                     KIRA 
  42.             I'm fine.
  43.  
  44.     But Sisko wants her checked out anyway. He turns to 
  45.     O'Brien for a report.

  47.                     O'BRIEN 
  48.             The inertial dampers are off-line, 
  49.             and the gyromagnetic stabilizers 
  50.             have depolarized.
  51.                 (annoyed) 
  52.             We're going to be here for days.

  54.     Sisko turns to Dax, annoyed.

  56.                     SISKO 
  57.             Smooth sailing?
