  7.             You are... a coward and I 
  8.             challenge you for command of this 
  9.             ship.
  10.  
  11.     Martok stares at Worf for a moment, unwilling to
  12.     believe this betrayal by his friend. For the moment, 
  13.     the rest of the Klingons forget their internecine 
  14.     conflict and step back away from the two men, leaving 
  15.     the center of the Bridge to Worf and Martok.
  16.  
  17.                     MARTOK 
  18.             I never would've expected this 
  19.             from you, Worf.
  20.  
  21.     Worf feels the tug of his loyalty and friendship for 
  22.     this man, but shoves it aside. He pulls his knife and 
  23.     readies himself for the fight. Martok glances around 
  24.     the Bridge at the faces of his crew -- sees no way out, 
  25.     and then pulls his own knife.
  26.  
  27. 40   THE FIGHT 
  28.  
  29.     begins with the two men circling each other warily 
  30.     around the captain's chair... then Worf LUNGES at 
  31.     Martok. The General moves out of the way and HITS Worf 
  32.     as he passes, but Worf barely feels the blow...
  33.  
  34. 41   THE KLINGONS 
  35.  
  36.     watch with little expression at first, maintaining an 
  37.     eerie calm as the life-and-death struggle plays out 
  38.     only a few short feet away. Only Dax seems to have any 
  39.     kind of emotional stake in what's happening.
  40.  
  41.     But as the fight goes on, we should see that the 
  42.     Klingons can't help but get emotionally involved in the 
  43.     fight... their warrior instincts and hormones rising to 
  44.     the fore despite themselves...
  45.  
  46. 42   THE FIGHT
  47.  
  48.     Worf is clearly the better combatant -- Martok is on 
  49.     the defensive and only barely able to keep Worf 
  50.     from landing the killing stroke by clever use of the chairs 
  51.     and consoles of the Bridge.
  52.  
  53.     Worf SLASHES Martok's free arm, drawing first blood and 
  54.     getting a YELL in response from the gathered crowd.
