  13.             The Rotarran's short-handed and I 
  14.             still have four month's leave 
  15.             coming. I've already cleared it 
  16.             with Martok and Benjamin. I'm 
  17.             your new Science Officer.

  19.     She smiles at him, enjoying his discomfort.
  20.  
  21.                     WORF
  22.             Why didn't you tell me?

  24.                     DAX
  25.             It was more fun this way.
  26.                 (getting more serious) 
  27.             And after getting a good look at 
  28.             a couple members of the Rotarran's 
  29.             crew... I don't think we're going 
  30.             to be having a lot of fun on this 
  31.             mission.

  33.     Worf thinks about the implications of that as Dax turns 
  34.     and EXITS to the airlock.

  38. 10   EXT. SPACE - BIRD OF PREY (OPTICAL)

  40.     The Klingon ship is docked at the station.

  42. 11   INT. KLINGON BRIDGE 
  43.  
  44.     Dax is sitting at a science console (and now armed with
  45.     a phaser), going over some readings when she feels like 
  46.     she's being watched. She turns and meets the gaze of 
  47.     Kornan and Leskit, who are at the Tactical and Helm 
  48.     stations respectively. (other Klingon N.D.s as 
  49.     needed.) Dax looks at them squarely, without the 
  50.     slightest qualm and for a moment it looks like it'll be 
  51.     a staring contest... then Dax suddenly throws out her 
  52.     arms and yells:

  55.             BOO!!!
  56.  
  57.     Kornan and Leskit both flinch back in surprise and then 
  58.     the sound of a woman's LAUGHTER pierces the Bridge.
