  6.     Bashir stops in his tracks. O'Brien looks up at the 
  7.     circle of bewildered faces.

  9.                     O'BRIEN 
  10.             I'm sorry. Sorry, everybody.

  12.     O'Brien holds his hand behind his back to hide the 
  13.     bleeding.
  14.  
  15.                     O'BRIEN 
  16.             Excuse me...
  17.  
  18.     O'Brien rushes out of the room, to the bedroom. We 
  19.     hold a beat as the guests exchange looks.
  20.  
  21. 14   INT. O'BRIEN'S BEDROOM
  22.  
  23.     O'Brien has a small towel wrapped around his wrist to 
  24.     stop the bleeding. Keiko appears behind him.
  25.  
  26.                     KEIKO
  27.                 (a command)
  28.             Get a hold of yourself.
  29.  
  30.                     O'BRIEN 
  31.             I've done what you wanted. Now 
  32.             give me my wife back.
  33.  
  34.     Keiko calmly takes out a small first aid device and 
  35.     gently unwraps the towel around O'Brien's hand, taking 
  36.     care of her husband like she's done a thousand times.
  37.  
  38.                     KEIKO 
  39.             You've done well, Miles.
  40.  
  41.     She applies the device to seal up the wound and stop 
  42.     the bleeding.
  43.  
  44.                     KEIKO 
  45.             But recalibrating the optronic 
  46.             integrator was only a test. I had 
  47.             to be sure I could trust you.
  48.                 (softly) 
  49.             Tomorrow, the real work begins.
  50.  
  51.     O'Brien pulls his arm away, speechless. She has him 
  52.     boxed in and he doesn't know what to do about it.
  53.  
  54.                     KEIKO 
  55.             Now it's time we got back to our 
  56.             guests. We don't want to raise 
  57.             any suspicions, do we?
