  9.             I can't believe it. Keiko's been 
  10.             gone for five days and we've 
  11.             killed her plants.
  12.  
  13.                     BASHIR
  14.             She'll understand, won't she? 
  15.             After all, they're just plants.

  18.                     O'BRIEN
  19.             They're not "just plants" - 
  20.             they're her bonsai trees.
  21.  
  22.     O'Brien picks up one of the plants, tries to prop up a 
  23.     sagging branch. It falls off.
  24.  
  25.                     O'BRIEN 
  26.             She's nurtured them and cared for 
  27.             them, carefully sculpted their 
  28.             growth for... months... years.

  30.                     MOLLY 
  31.             You're in trouble.
  32.  
  33.     But O'Brien refuses to let the panic take hold. 
  34.     O'Brien sets the plant down, fixes his daughter with a 
  35.     desperate smile.

  37.                     O'BRIEN 
  38.             Molly, honey, listen... why don't 
  39.             we both go to the airlock and 
  40.             welcome Mommy back together. Then 
  41.             after we've hugged and kissed her, 
  42.             you can explain what happened.

  45.                 (shaking her head) 
  46.             Not me.

  48.     O'Brien looks to Bashir.

  51.             Don't look at me.
