  10.     As Jake and Bashir follow Kirby toward the back exit...

  12. 27   EXT. PLANET - CAVE ENTRANCE - DAY (LOCATION)

  14.     As Jake and Bashir emerge and start off...
  15.  
  16. 27A EXT. PLANETIS SURFACE - DAY (LOCATION) 
  17.  
  18.     As Jake and Bashir, trotting at a brisk pace, come onto 
  19.     the edge of an open expanse of land, a ridge cresting 
  20.     in the distance.
  21.  
  22.                     BASHIR
  23.             We set down just beyond that
  24.             bridge.
  25.  
  26.                     JAKE
  27.                 (agreeing)
  28.             Looks familiar...
  29.  
  30.     They continue on until suddenly a series of EXPLOSIONS 
  31.     rip into the ground all around them. Bashir 
  32.     immediately dives to the floor, pulling Jake with
  33.     him...
  34.  
  35.                     BASHIR
  36.             Get down!
  37.  
  38. 28   ON JAKE AND BASHIR
  39.  
  40.     hunkered down on the ground as debris from the 
  41.     continuing EXPLOSIONS rains down on them. 
  42.     detonating ahead of them, behind them, and to both 
  43.     sides.
  44.  
  45.                     BASHIR
  46.             Stay close... keep your head 
  47.             low.
  48.  
  49.     Jake is so terrified he can barely nod... a beat, then 
  50.     Bashir, his head low, starts for a large rock up ahead. 
  51.     Jake follows close behind...
