  12. 10   INT. INFIRMARY

  14.     O'Brien rushes in to find KIRA lying on one of the
  15.     beds, with a bruise on her forehead, her body covered
  16.     with a blanket. A NURSE tends to her wound.
  17.  
  18.                     KIRA
  19.             Keiko's in surgery -- but she's
  20.             going to be fine.
  21.  
  22.                     O'BRIEN
  23.             And the baby?
  24.  
  25.     Kira hesitates, not quite sure how to put this...
  26.     O'Brien misreads her hesitation, fearing the worst.
  27.  
  28.                     O'BRIEN
  29.             Oh, my god...
  30.  
  31.     Kira quickly corrects his impression.
  32.  
  33.                     KIRA
  34.             No, no, Chief -- the baby's fine.
  35.  
  36.                     O'BRIEN
  37.             You sure?
  38.  
  39.     He looks towards the surgery room.
  40.  
  41.                     KIRA
  42.             Positive. Everything's okay. The
  43.             baby's just had a... change of
  44.             address.
  45.  
  46.                     O'BRIEN
  47.             What?
  48.  
  49.     She removes the blanket and touches her enlarged
  50.     abdomen.
  51.  
  52.                     KIRA
  53.                 (smiling)
  54.             Your son is living here now.
  55.  
  56.     And on O'Brien's bewildered face, we:
