  30.     Jennifer is lying on a surgical bed. Jake stands vigil 
  31.     next to her.

  35.                 (to Jennifer)
  36.             See -- I told you he'd be here.

  39.             How is she?

  41.     Jake just shakes his head -- not wanting to voice his 
  42.     fears. Sisko approaches the bed. Jennifer is 
  43.     conscious, but very weak. Summoning her strength, she 
  44.     whispers:

  46.                     JENNIFER
  47.             Ben...

  49.     She holds out her hand. Sisko takes hold of her hand. 
  50.     She smiles and struggles to speak again.
