  13.     Sisko to be an ally.

  17.             proportion.

  19.     Sisko can see that this is killing O'Brien, but his
  20.     main concern is making sure O'Brien gets help.

  23.             You know that's not true. You're
  24.             not yourself, Chief. what
  25.             happened on Argratha affected you
  26.             a lot more than you're willing to
  27.             admit. And it's not going to get
  28.             better overnight, no matter how
  29.             much you want it to. You need
  30.             help.

  32.     O'Brien realizes he's skating on thin ice. He makes one
  33.     last attempt to talk himself out of trouble.

  36.             Captain, please. I'm asking you,
  37.             as a personal favor to me... give
  38.             me one more chance.

  43.             But right now, in the judgement of
  44.             this station's chief medical
  45.             officer, you're unfit for duty.
  46.             Which means you're on medical
  47.             leave, effective immediately. And
  48.             if you don't begin attending
  49.             counseling sessions on a regular
  50.             basis, and cooperating in every
  51.             other way with your physician, I
  52.             will have no choice but to have
  53.             you confined to the infirmary. Is
  54.             that clear?
