  19.     O'Brien shakes his head. The memory obviously pains
  20.     him.

  22.                     O'BRIEN
  23.             I was alone.

  25.     And as soon as O'Brien utters these words we...

  29. 18   INT. ARGRATHI CELL - FLASHBACK (OPTICAL)
  30.  
  31.     O'Brien, still young and in a clean uniform, is flung
  32.     into the rough stone cell by an Argrathi Guard. He's
  33.     been starved, beaten and abused during his
  34.     interrogation and looks terrible.
  35.  
  36.     O'Brien collapses to the floor as the cell door is
  37.     closed and sealed with a forcefield.
  38.  
  39. 19   CLOSE ON O'BRIEN 
  40.  
  41.     As O'Brien lays there, semiconscious and in tremendous
  42.     pain, a hand reaches out and squeezes juice from an
  43.     alien-looking piece of fruit onto O'Brien's lips.
  44.  
  45.     O'Brien reflexively drinks the juice and slowly comes
  46.     around. He looks up to find out where the juice is
  47.     coming from, and pries his eyes open to see...

  49. 20   NEW ANGLE - O'BRIEN'S POV (OPTICAL)
  50.  
  51.     Which is blurry and obscure at first but slowly comes
  52.     into focus. O'Brien is looking up at the face of an
  53.     Argrathi prisoner, about the same age as O'Brien, but
  54.     lean and grizzled from years of confinement. This is
  55.     EE'CHAR. He's been imprisoned for a long time, and
  56.     knows what O'Brien's going through.
