  15.     Sisko nods to them as a dismissal. Kira EXITS to the
  16.     Promenade, but O'Brien hesitates.

  22.             Don't say it, Chief. I've already
  23.             got one officer defending Worf.
  24.             I don't need two.

  26.     O'Brien can see that Sisko means it and he decides to
  27.     let it go at that. He EXITS. Off Sisko's still
  28.     disturbed face...

  30.                                     CUT TO:

  32. 15   INT. SURGERY

  34.     Worf is standing over the unconscious form of Kurn,
  35.     who's lying on the table under the clamshell. BASHIR
  36.     and an N.D. Nurse are standing nearby.
  37.  
  38.                     BASHIR
  39.             He's stabilized. I can revive him
  40.             at any time.
  41.  
  42.     Worf waits a long moment, and then finally looks up at
  43.     BASHIR.
  44.  
  45.                     WORF
  46.             Wake him.
  47.  
  48.     Bashir applies a hypospray to Kurn's throat and he
  49.     begins to wake up.
  50.  
  51.                     BASHIR
  52.             I'll be right outside if you need
  53.             me.
  54.  
  55.     Worf nods and BASHIR EXITS with the Nurse. Kurn blinks
  56.     a few times and then sees the face of his brother
  57.     looking down at him.

  59.                     KURN
  60.             I... am alive.
