  2.       DEEP SPACE NINE: "Return to Grace" - 12/07/95 - ACT FOUR     40A.

  4. 44A  INT. KLINGON CORRIDOR (OPTICAL) 
  5.  
  6.     The Klingon moves through the corridor where THREE more
  7.     KLINGONS work to repair a ruptured plasma line. Behind
  8.     them, Kira and Dukat MATERIALIZE.
  9.  
  10.     Instantaneously, Kira and Dukat each FIRE one phaser
  11.     blast, hitting their respective targets. The two
  12.     remaining Klingons -- drawing their daggers -- pounce
  13.     on the intruders.
  14.  
  15.     A ferocious hand-to-hand combat ensues. Kira is in her
  16.     element but she has to use every one of her fighting
  17.     skills to fend off the more powerful Klingon.
  18.  
  19.     Dukat and the other Klingon also battle hand-to-hand,
  20.     but their fight is more evenly matched -- Cardassian
  21.     strength vs. Klingon strength. As the fight
  22.     progresses, it becomes clear that the Klingon may be a
  23.     tad stronger, but Dukat is a tad wilier. Eventually,
  24.     Dukat defeats the Klingon, killing him just moments
  25.     before Kira kills her opponent. Out of breath, Dukat
  26.     checks with Kira --

  28.                     DUKAT
  29.             Major... ?
  30.  
  31.                     KIRA
  32.             Just give me a minute.
  33.  
  34.     Using her tricorder, Kira finds an access panel and
  35.     removes it. Working quickly, she begins tapping some
  36.     keys on the panel and on her tricorder. Dukat moves to
  37.     guard the door as Kira continues working.
  38.  
  39.                     DUKAT
  40.             Hurry, major.
  41.  
  42.                     KIRA
  43.             Be quiet. I need to concentrate.
  44.  
  45.     As Kira continues working...
  46.  
  47. 44B  INT. KLINGON BRIDGE (OPTICAL)
  48.  
  49.     K'TEMANG steps up to the viewscreen, where the
  50.     Cardassian freighter hangs in space, vulnerably
  51.     defenseless.
  52.  
  53.                     K'TEMANG
  54.             Lock target and fire!
  55.  
  56.     But just as he says the word "fire", he DEMATERIALIZES
  57.     along with all his other men on the bridge.
