  13.     SISKO and DAX stand at a viewport on the Second Level
  14.     along with a crowd of other station residents. They
  15.     watch as the wormhole opens, stays open for a beat,
  16.     then closes. No ship enters or exits the wormhole. To
  17.     the humans and other Federation personnel, this is an
  18.     interesting scientific anomaly, but to the Bajorans,
  19.     the wormhole's behavior has deep religious significance
  20.     and they react accordingly.

  22.                     DAX
  23.             There it goes again. That's the
  24.             seventh time in the last two
  25.             hours.
  26.  
  27.                     SISKO
  28.             Still no idea what's causing it?
  29.  
  30.                     DAX
  31.             So far it seems to be opening and
  32.             closing completely at random. No
  33.             unusual readings... no ships
  34.             coming through...
  35.  
  36.     They begin to walk away from the viewport. As they
  37.     walk, Dax occasionally glances over the rail down at
  38.     the Second Level.

  40.                     DAX
  41.             For all we know, the Bajorans are
  42.             right. Maybe it is a message from
  43.             the Prophets.
  44.  
  45.     As Sisko and Dax walk by a Bajoran monk, he bows his
  46.     head in respect to the Emissary. Sisko nods back
  47.     uncomfortably.

  49.                     SISKO
  50.                 (joking)
  51.             If it is, they haven't told me.
  52.
