  9.     Sisko is addressing Kira, Odo, Eddington and a group of N.D.s.

  11.                     SISKO

  13.             Our objective is simple.  Find the 
  14.             changeling and stop him from doing 
  15.             any more damage.
  16.                 (a beat)
  17.             We'll break up into two-person teams.  
  18.             Each team will be equipped with phaser 
  19.             rifles.
  20.  
  21.     Sisko indicates a stack of phaser rifles.
  22.  
  23.                     EDDINGTON
  24.             We've reconfigured the rifles to 
  25.             fire an expanding energy pulse.
  26.  
  27.                     ODO
  28.             The phasers are set low enough to 
  29.             avoid damaging equipment... but high 
  30.             enough to affect the changeling.
  31.  
  32.                     SISKO
  33.             The changeling could be hiding 
  34.             anywhere.  He could look like 
  35.             anything.  So we're going to have to 
  36.             systematically sweep the ship with 
  37.             phaser fire.  Every corridor, every 
  38.             conduit.  If he's out there, we're 
  39.             going to find him.
  40.                 (a beat)

  43.     One of the Security Officers, a BOLIAN, nods.

  45.                     BOLIAN
  46.             What if the changeling's not out 
  47.             there?  What if he's one of us?
  48.  
  49.     Though the Bolian's the one who said it, clearly everyone's 
  50.     been thinking the same thing.  The crewmembers eye each other 
  51.     suspiciously.  They know there's no way to tell the changeling 
  52.     from the person it's imitating.
