  6.     You can see it in the ornate details worked into the 
  7.     bulkhead, the use of rich woods, the pipes and valve 
  8.     assemblies that emerge from the bolted iron walls, the analog 
  9.     gauges, the portholes (which are placed not just in the 
  10.     walls, but in the floor and ceiling as well).

  12.     Much of the wall space is taken up by four winch assemblies 
  13.     that occupy each corner of the room.  These extend from floor 
  14.     to ceiling and are used to control the sails; they consist 
  15.     of gauges, cranks, gears and levers.
  16.  
  17.     There's a table against one wall for reading star charts, 
  18.     with a rack for holding the rolled up charts.  A complex 
  19.     looking SEXTANT hangs from the ceiling near the portholes.
  20.  
  21.     Because the crew needs to be able to move unencumbered around 
  22.     the cabin to work the winches, there are no chairs or beds.  
  23.     When it comes time to sit or sleep, the crew will use pillows 
  24.     or string up a hammock.  A door in one wall leads to the 
  25.     head... and against another wall there's a small zero-gravity 
  26.     GALLEY.

  28.     After a moment, Dax peers through one of the windows, then 
  29.     ENTERS through the opening where a door will eventually be.  
  30.     She's carrying a "picnic basket" with food.
